The Precious Word of God

Years ago, when communism fell in Russia, missionaries rushed in to spread the gospel. Boxes of Bibles were taken in to distribute, but the demand was greater than the supply. People lined up for blocks to receive Bibles. However, when the number of Bibles ran out, there was still a line. The next man in line begged them to look to see if maybe there was just one more. They looked, but found no more Bibles. To which the man replied, "Can I just hold the box the Bibles came in?"

We must never let the Word of God, His presence, or His church become commonplace in our lives. What a blessing each time that they touch us.
